- Native or near native ASL signer
- Two years teaching experience
- Familiar with ASL curriculums (True+Way ASL, Signing Naturally, ASL at Work)
- Knowledgeable about Deaf culture
- Have your own equipment and working knowledge of technology
- Knowledgeable about working with learners from diverse educational, cultural and language backgrounds preferred
Duties:
- Provide ASL instruction in person, at DEAF, Inc. offices, and offsite at a different location
- Report to supervisor with concerns or issues from within classes
