- A highly reliable self-starter who motivates others to achieve their goals
- Fluent in ASL and written English
- Able to demonstrate diplomacy, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism
- Able to follow a hybrid work schedule
Benefits:
- Eligible for dental and health insurance on the first day of employment (DEAF, Inc. pay 85%, employee pay 15%)
- Paid vacation time (12 days), sick time (10 days), and personal time (2 days) for first year; increases each year
- Paid holidays (13 days) and a paid holiday break at the end of December

Key Duties:
- Manage a caseload of adults who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing who use ASL to communicate
- Provide direct services including skills training, advocacy, peer counseling, and information and referral
- Conduct intake assessments; develop written service plans that delineate advocacy and skills training goals
- Document detailed consumer progress and all services provided, maintain updated consumer files, and complete reports, in a timely manner
- Advocate for effective communication and access for consumers working with other providers
- Promote awareness of DEAF, Inc. services and provide training/workshops
