A fair skinned man with grey short hair and beard wearing black button up. They are signing "support". The background is solid grey. The captions say "the inclusion of DeafBlind individuals within the community providing support to enhance and maintain their autonomy."

The DeafBlind Community Access Network (DBCAN) program is committed to promoting the inclusion of DeafBlind individuals within the community, providing support to enhance and maintain their autonomy. DBCAN extends its services to DeafBlind adults in Massachusetts.

DBCAN pairs DeafBlind adults with skilled Providers who serve as co-navigators for various daily activities. These tasks encompass reading mail and other printed materials, participating in fitness programs, navigating public transportation like the MBTA, handling personal errands (such as banking, visiting the hair salon, and shopping), and attending medical appointments. This comprehensive support not only addresses practical needs but also empowers our DeafBlind community members to actively engage in cultural, educational, recreational, and religious events.
